Method How the Chambers works

How the Chambers works.

  • Single-counsel responsibility. One named counsel is responsible for each matter, with the team behind him for coverage.
  • Same-day hearing report. A written hearing report goes to the instructing firm or client the same day the matter is taken up, including the order passed and the next date.
  • Drafts reviewed before filing. Drafts go to the instructing counsel for review before filing.
  • Itemised invoicing. Invoicing is per effective hearing and per drafted pleading, itemised.
  • Email of record. Instructions, documents and reporting run over email, with counsel reachable by phone on hearing days.

The client relationship remains with the instructing firm.
