Every framework in this body of work was developed in active litigation before it was formalised in print. The practice is what separates the work from commentary: instruments built by an advocate who takes instructions from clients, frames matters across jurisdictions, argues before benches, drafts under deadline, and lives with the consequences of the advice he gives.
Shivam Shukla has practised before the Allahabad High Court since 2019 and independently since 2022 from Chamber No. 40. The work spans original writ jurisdiction, special appeals, second appeals, criminal quashing and bail, civil and revenue appeals, supervisory jurisdiction, habeas corpus, tax writs, and public interest litigation, before Single Judge benches, Division Benches, and the Chief Justice's bench.
He works with solicitors, legal advisors, and co-counsel across jurisdictions. Consultations on legal strategy, case assessment, and appellate planning form a regular part of the practice alongside courtroom advocacy. He is a Founding Partner of Bharat Litigation Law, co-founded with Aniket Gupta (LL.M., NLU Jodhpur), through which institutional litigation is conducted for clients in banking, financial services, e-commerce, and corporate sectors across forums in India, including the Supreme Court of India.

- Sustained multi-stage litigation. Matters running across years: escalation from representation to writ to contempt to compliance, with strategic sequencing across hearings and benches.
- Institutional litigation. Recovery proceedings, regulatory compliance, and contractual enforcement for institutional clients, co-ordinated through Bharat Litigation Law.
